History[]

Before the Show[]

Prior to the show, Ramiro and Yam were already friends, since Ramiro is usually shown around Yam and Jim, and they attend the same school.

Season 1[]

Part 1[]

Ramiro is first seen when Yam and best friend Jim return from their vacation in Episode 2. Throughout the next few episodes, Ramiro is shown to be "just there" and constantly getting in the middle of Yam and Jim's fights and on their nerves with his cockiness. Later, Jim picks it out for them to dance together in the skating contest and Nico finds out that it was fixed so he could dance with her. However, they get eliminated in the first round of the competition.

Part 2[]

In Episode 40, Yam helps Ramiro out by pretending to be his girlfriend, when the guitarist from the band 'Electro Power' confronts him about asking out his girlfriend Vero (the band's lead singer whom Ramiro liked). Yam realizes the situation and with quick thinking comes in and starts crying pretending to be a hurt girlfriend, effectively making the mad guitarist go away. When the guitarist later comes by a second time, Gastón accidentally gives Ramiro away, so to prove they are dating Yam and Ramiro share their first and second kiss. First Ramiro kisses her, and then she does the same to him. Everyone around them is equally as surprised as them.

They later start dating in Episode 60, after Ramiro asked Yam out. However, Yam soon breaks up with him in Episode 78, due to her not being able to get over the fact that Ramiro left the Jam & Roller Skating Team for another team. They stay as awkward friends until the season's end.

Season 2[]

Part 1[]

In the beginning of Season 2, they are friends, yet their relationship is a bit rough in the edges. However, as the season progresses they both begin to develop new feelings for each other again.

Part 2[]

In Season 2/Episode 45, Yam sings the song "Yes, I Do" at the soloist Open Music. She is nervous, and as it's a love song, her friends tells her to think of a time when she was in love. She starts thinking about someone, when suddenly Ramiro comes into the room. From the look she on her face after seeing him, it seems like she was thinking about him. A little later in the episode, while she is performing the song, her and Ramiro exchange loving glances.

Throughout the second half of the season, Ramiro continues to change for the better, becoming less self-centered than before and more generous and helping.

In Season 2/Episode 65, Jim and Yam watch him practice a new routine in the park. They both are surprised by how good it is and compliment him. The three talk and joke around a bit when he says it's not easy to win his affection. That's when Jim says both her and Yam love him as he is. Yam then continues by repeating, 'Yes, we love you...'. Her statement is followed by a long pause as she stares into his eyes. Neither Jim and Ramiro don't give it much notice, as she wakes out of her trance and turns the sentence around. She also picks up his bag for him.

In Season 2/Episode 71, Ramiro and Yam are at school when they discuss him being back on the team. She congratulates him, and says that he deserves it, and even laughs at his jokes. When she tells him she's not going to Cancún, he is very disappointed. Although Yam tells him not to worry and that it's fine, he says it's not the same without her and that he's going to talk to Juliana and try to convince her to let Yam go too. When Yam asks why he would do that for her, he just answers that he wants to have her close by. Jim grins at her friend overhearing their talk. Ramiro then leaves for his classes. Yam and Jim proceed with a cute conversation, and after first denying, Yam finally confesses that Ramiro changed a lot and that she likes him again. In Season 2/Episode 72, Ramiro tells Gastón that he has feelings for Yam.

In Season 2/Episode 73, Ramiro and Yam are having a conversation when they start saying something at the same time. Yam goes first and almost confesses that she loves him, when she changes the sentence. He is about to confess his feelings too, but instead ends up talking about her hair.

In Season 2/Episode 74, Ramiro decides to get tickets to Yam's favorite band and puts them in an envelope on her locker, taking baby steps to tell her his true feelings. Gastón, to Ramiro's slight dismay, even draws a heart on it. Later on, he finds the tickets ripped in pieces in the trash along with the envelope, and thinks that Yam did it, as a harsh way of rejecting him.

In Season 2/Episode 75, Ramiro catches up with Yam and questions her as to why she's avoiding him. She denies it, but when he asks why she ripped the tickets she laughs and tells him that it had been misplaced onto Simón's locker, and that he, thinking it was to him from Ámbar, was the one who tore it apart. The real reason that she was avoiding Ramiro, appears to be the complete opposite. She tells him that she was too shy to get close to him to tell him how she feels. He says he hopes it's the same as his feelings, and they finally kiss and hug each other.

In Season 2/Episode 76, Yam has a surprise for Ramiro. It appears that she managed to get the tickets for her favorite band, instead of the ones that got destroyed recently, and they agree to go together.

Season 3[]

Part 1[]

In the beginning of the season, Yam and Ramiro are still happily in love, still together and throughout the first episodes, share a few lovey-dovey scenes together. Yet everything turns for the worse when in episode 6, everyone finds out that Ramiro auditioned for the Red Sharks' team, as the mysterious skater, after the Jam & Roller team got terminated by Gary. In that and the following episode, they have a big fight and constantly ends up arguing, and then even though Ramiro says he did it for his future and this decision doesn't affect their relationship, Yam breaks up with him, and ends up crying herself.

During the rest of the first part they don't talk much at all, and when they do, they argue. Ramiro starts changing and behaving more like the rest of the Red Sharks after the others constantly ends up rejecting and see him as a traitor. But closer to the end of the first part, in episodes 29 through 30, we witness the return of the good Ramiro, when he helps Matteo finally get the full video of his kiss with Emilia to prove himself to Luna.

Part 2[]

In episode 31, Ramiro even comes to visit Matteo in the hospital after his accident.

After a long build up, in episode 44, he asks the Jam & Roller team for another chance on their team. Yam, still mad at him, is against the idea, yet at the end of episode 45, due to everyone else being ok with it, his request is accepted.

In episode 46, while Yam is singing, Jim is watching her from afar when Ramiro joins her. He starts saying sweet things about Yam to her, and although he is hesitant to tell it to her personally, Jim encourages him to do so. Yet Yam's opinion hasn't changed much, as when he does compliment her voice and advises her, she is not impressed at all. Even Jim tells her she's too hard on him.

In episode 47, while Jim is dancing, Ramiro comes in and advises her when she has a problem. Yam is also there close by, but when he suggests that they could dance all together like old times, Yam makes up an excuse to leave. Jim and Ramiro are left alone to talk. He seems disappointed at his failed attempts with Yam, and Jim, even though she herself thinks he changed, tells him that Yam has the right to feel that way after everything he did. He agrees and says he wishes he could turn back time, even though he can't.

In episode 48, they are not seen talking, but when Emma, Delfina, Simón, and Pedro are singing 'Un Destino', they look at each other.

In episode 49, the team is practicing for the audition. Juliana tells them the name of the choreography is 'Love', and that they need a leading couple with a connection to dance it. At first, she chooses Ramiro and Yam to dance. Yam isn't thrilled, yet Luna jokingly pokes her at that. Ramiro also sees the lack of excitement from her. When they try skating together, though Ramiro tries, Yam declines any kind of close contact or connection, so Juliana tries another pair. At the end of the episode, though they are not seen talking to each other directly, while the team is making decorations, they sit together.

In episode 50, the Mexican RollerJam takes place. At the party, Jim and Yam are skating and talking, when Delfi and Jazmín come up to interview them. Ramiro also comes by them a bit later, and seems like he's having fun. They all smile at him, apart from Yam. Jim compliments his appearance, but Yam leaves. He looks disappointed at another failed attempt, and says so. Later on, when Jim and Ramiro are hanging out, we can notice how Ramiro changed once again, when he stands up to Emilia.

In episode 51, Yam is singing a song with her guitar alone, and Ramiro watches her as she does so. When she finishes, and he once again comes to compliment her and give her some advice, she tells him she doesn't need it, and that he should think twice next time before wanting to do so. Ramiro states that she's never going to forgive him, but she doesn't answer and instead focuses on Jim, who gets carried into the room, with news about her twisted ankle.

In episode 52, Yam and Ramiro are both trying to calm Jim down and encourage her to do the audition. They agree with each other on that and even say a word simulataneously, followed by an awkward pause.

In episode 53, Jim comes back from her audition and comes up to Ramiro,Yam, Eric and Nina who are sitting together. Jim starts complaining how she did horribly, and the rest try to encourage her to relax and think positively. Then, Yam gets a message with her audition date, which appears to collide with the same date of the casting for the whole team. She says that she has no choice but to go to the audition as she is a few steps from completing her dream, leaving the team 1 person down a day before the casting. Everyone is a bit surprised by her decision. Ramiro then asks her to think about her friends and the people around even nod at that, but she gets mad at that remark, saying that it comes from him, the person who thought of no one when he left for the Red Sharks. Ramiro then turns away and stays quiet.

In episode 54, Yam comes back from her audition and joins Jim, Eric and Nina who were discussing Jim's audition. Yam says her audition went quite well. As soon as Ramiro sees them, he runs up, excited to know how she did, and tells her he hopes she did incredible. She laughs at that and smiles when she answers that she doean't know whether it was incredible, but it went pretty well. He's happy for her, and then he says that now she understands him. She asks what about, and he says that it is difficult to choose between your friends and your life's dream. She doesn't answer that but looks at Jim, who then approvigly looks at Ramiro. Later on in the episode, when Jima and Yam are alone, Jim asks her why she doesn't forgive Ramiro. Yam says she did, only for Jim to answer that she didn't notice cause she almost never speaks to him. Yam continues thatit's obvious their relationship is not the same after he betrayed them, and that she's angry, and didn't like anything he said. She follows that his situation has nothing to do with hers. Jim disagrees, and says that even though he was wrong, he regrets it, and that's why they're friends, to forgive and understand, and that they do that for her right now. Yam still disagrees.

In episode 56, Jim and Yam find out that they both got accepted and the audition was a success. Some time later, Yam is standing in a trance on stage unti Ramiro comes up and puts her out of it. They have some cute small talk, as she tells him she got in. He is genuinely happy for her, and even goes in for a hug, but due to the awkwardness in their relationship it doesn't work out, and they pull away. He compliments her on her voice again, saying he knew she would succeed. Yam then apologizes to him, saying she might've been way too harsh on him, and that she understands now that something alike has happened to her, when she had to choose between the audition and the team casting, saying she felt selfish doing so. He says for her to relax and not worry as he understands that, as it's something he did for the Red Sharks, but realised he was wrong. Yam then continues that it doesn't matter as it's all in the past now, and that everyone makes mistakes, and your friends are always going to love you either way. He then cheekily asks if they're friends now. She smiles at him and says that for now they are friends, but under one condition, if he sings a song with her. They sing "Creyendo en mí", giving each other sweet looks, and at the end finally hug.
