Tomás "Thomas" de las Heras is an Argentine actor, writer, playwright, and director. He is most known for his starring role in Champs 12 and work on Combatientes. He portrays Mariano in Season 1 of Soy Luna.
Life and Career[]
In his teens, Tomás de las Heras began to study acting and improvisation at the Centro Cultural San Martín in Buenos Aires.[1] He started his career in theater, in productions such as Sonrista busca un circo and Prohibido suicidarse en primavera.[2] De las Heras moved to television in 2006 with a guest role on Mujeres asesinas and a recurring role on Sos mi vida.[2] In 2009, he starred as the main love interest in the children's telenovela Champs 12 opposite Liz Solari.[3] Afterwards, he had a number of guest spots on television before landing the recurring role of Mariano in Soy Luna in 2016.
In addition to acting, de las Heras has written and directed for television and theater. In 2011, he wrote for the series Diálogos fundamentales del Bicentenario, and in 2013, he wrote and directed the critically-acclaimed war drama Combatientes.[4] As a playwright, he has written two short plays called La Mancha y Shaise! that were performed together in 2011 under the title Tarántulas.[5] De las Heras has also directed a number of commercials for companies such as Powerade, Xfinity, and Heineken.[6]
De las Heras has two kids with actress Victoria Raposo.[7][8]
