Episode 60 is the sixtieth episode of the Disney Channel Latin America series Soy Luna. It aired on July 29, 2016.
Plot[]
Simón realizes Daniela is not what she pretended to be. Ramiro and Yam finally start dating. Sharon receives the documents she was waiting for.
Summary[]
Daniela's lies are brought to light[]
Simón and Luna are sitting in the park when Daniela passes by without her crutches. Since Daniela claimed to Simón that she had to be on bed rest, Simón realizes that Daniela has been lying to her all this time. They break up, and Simón apologizes to Luna for not believing her sooner. After Simón leaves the girls, Daniela promises that Luna will pay for their break up.
Before the competition, Daniela steals Luna's skates from her locker. Luna and Simón enter the room and know that Daniela stole the skates, but she refuses to tell them the truth. Luna resolves to ask Nico for a pair of rentals, but Simón continues to talk to Daniela. She tells him that everything she did was for their love, since she always felt like Simón was only dating her to get over Luna. She apologizes for hurting him, hopes that one day he'll understand what she did, and then gives him back Luna's skates.
After the internal competition, Simón catches up with Luna at the park, and he talks about how his feelings for her haven't gone away, but have grown even bigger. The two share a kiss.
The internal competition commences[]
Nina's fall has put her arm in a sling, and her out of the competition. Luna scrambles to find a replacement at Blake South College. After seeing how down Simón is after his breakup, Nico agrees to fill in for Nina to cheer him up. Moments before the competition is about to commence, Jim tries to teach Nico the choreography, but he is overwhelmed with all he has to learn. Yam interrupts their rehearsal to give everybody their custom-made costumes.
The competition begins, and Ámbar's team has a flawless performance. Mariano notes to Tamara that their team lacks teamwork and connection, two things that will be necessary to win the Intercontinental Skating Competition. While he is talking, he gets very aggressive about winning, and Tamara thinks he is getting a little overambitious. Also during their performance, Nina posts to FelicityForNow.
Next up is Luna's team. Their performance mostly goes well until the end, where they all bump into each other. Nico blames himself, but Jim says that without him, they wouldn't be able to compete at all. The mistake costs the team the competition, and Ámbar's team wins. At the lockers, Gastón doesn't seem thrilled about the team's win. Nina asks him what is wrong, and he says that he feels like Felicity is far away from him.
Yam and Ramiro are together[]
While at the park, Yam and Ramiro clarify their feelings and become a couple. Jim hops out from behind the tree she was hiding behind, and congratulates the new couple. The next day, Luna sees them together, and thinks they are going out, but the couple denies it.
After losing the competition, Jim realizes she feels alone with her best friends happily together.
Delfi loves Pedro[]
Nico catches Delfi switching out the platters for Pedro's haute cuisine night. He doesn't want to lie to Pedro, but agrees to help her after she admits that she's doing it because she loves Pedro. The night goes great, and Pedro wants to do more events like it.
Before the competition is to commence, Delfi is talking trash about Luna's team with her friends Jazmín and Ámbar, when Pedro walks in. After the competition, Pedro confronts Delfi and tells her he doesn't like the way she acts when she's with her friends.
The adoption records arrive[]
Rey and Sharon sort through the adoption records that have just arrived from Mexico, but have trouble going through such a high volume of information. Sharon has to take a break, it's so overwhelming.
Meanwhile, Miguel takes Amanda's sun charm to the jewelers to try to find its original purchaser.
