Episode 57 is the fifty-seventh episode of the Disney Channel Latin America series Soy Luna. It aired on July 26, 2016.

Plot[]

Daniela keeps plotting against Luna. Rey lets Sharon know the adoption papers are close. Luna meets Simón and tries to warn him about Daniela, but will he listen?

Summary[]

Daniela fakes an injury[]

Daniela pretends that Luna accidentally pushed her to the ground while they were fighting for her lyrics. The next day, Luna tries to tell Simón that nothing happened while they were tussling, but he is convinced it was just an absent-minded accident of hers. Simón goes on about how in love he is and tells Luna he hopes she will fall in love some day. Their conversation is cut short when Daniela calls Simón to inform him that it is worse than they thought. Daniela returns to Jam & Roller on crutches, claiming that she won't be able to recover in time for her audition at the conservatory.

Ámbar's getting closer to Matteo again[]

Ámbar gets Matteo to skate with her again, but they are interrupted by Willy Star, who tries to rehearse with them, but without skates. Later, Willy trains with the whole team, but his methods are called into question as they are asked to aimlessly skate around the rink while Willy rolls around on the floor. Jazmín wants to interview Willy for Fab and Chic, but Ámbar is against it since Willy isn't popular; there is nothing about him to be found online.

At home, Ámbar gets into a fight with Sharon over the latter's constant secret-keeping and high expectations. Ámbar says that she doesn't want to keep having to act perfect and storms out of breakfast. She confides in Matteo and tells him that she doesn't want to return to her house and that Sharon doesn't love her. Matteo says that she can count on him to be there for her, but also reminds her that her friends are there for her too. They briefly continue their conversation at Jam & Roller, and afterwards, Ámbar tells Jazmín and Delfi that they are close to getting back together.

Pedro plans a date[]

Pedro discovers that Delfi likes signature cuisine and tries to prepare a recipe for Delfi while she's at school. Nico is glad to help, but Simón enters and is upset since they agreed to rehearse at this time. Nico reminds Simón how supportive Pedro was of their relationships, which causes Simón to discover that Pedro has a crush, though he isn't told on whom.

After school, Pedro talks with Delfi, and she agrees to help him prepare his recipes.

FelicityForNow is close to being outed[]

Gastón confides in Nina that he is close to discovering the identity of FelicityForNow. Felicity posted a picture to her account that shows Tino taking a picture at the same time. All Gastón and his friends need to do now is find the picture on Tino's phone to figure out Felicity's identity. Nina is super nervous and asks Luna to get Tino to delete the picture, or else she'll be exposed.

Ámbar gets to Tino first and asks to see his phone to look at pictures from the Open Music. Tino gets confused and accidentally gives her Cato's phone instead. At breakfast, Luna begs Tino to delete the picture to protect a friend, to which he agrees. As Luna leaves to get ready for school, Ámbar enters the kitchen, having realized she had Cato's phone and not Tino's. She bribes Tino to trade his phone for her old one with unlimited minutes and good signal. Tino accepts the deal, much to the dismay of Cato. Cato reminds Tino of his promise to Luna and reprimands him for betraying a friend.

Tino calls Luna to tell her he gave the phone to Ámbar. Luna relays the bad news to Nina, and they come to the conclusion that Nina must tell Gastón the truth herself before she is outed by someone else. Nina tries to tell Gastón at school, but she's too nervous and Gastón has to get to class. At Jam & Roller, Nina tries to tell Gastón the truth once again, but the words won't leave her mouth.

At school, Ámbar tries to find the photo, but the phone is dead. Tino's phone doesn't accept any of Ámbar or her friend's charger, so they must find another one. Delfi brings the charger to Jam & Roller, but Tamara calls them in for practice before they get a chance to look through the phone. After rehearsal, the girls are about to get the information they need when Tino comes marching into the cafeteria.

Romances are brewing for the adults[]

Tino cannot stop thinking about Amanda's cousin Olga and has sent her hundreds of messages. Amanda tells him to leave it alone, a sentiment Cato shares. Amanda and Cato seem to be getting along quite well.

Ana comes to Jam & Roller to pick up Nina with Mora, and they run into Tamara. Mora tears into Tamara for breaking Ricardo's heart. Ana gets Mora to stop harassing Tamara and questions why Mora seems to care so much about Ricardo all of a sudden. As the two are about to leave with Nina, they run into Willy, who appears to be smitten with Ana. The next day, Willy runs into Ana at the park.

Miguel looks into Luna's past[]

Miguel thinks that Luna's recent dream is a sign they should continue searching for information about Luna's past. He wonders if Luna could've visited the mansion when she was a child, but Mónica refutes the notion, thinking that Luna could be picturing any number of mansions they worked at in Mexico. Luna hears them talking about her past and reaffirms to them that they are her "real" parents, and that she isn't interested in learning more about her past. Meanwhile, Rey informs Sharon that according to his contact, the adoption records should be arriving soon.

The next day, Miguel tries to find the number of the Victorino Wan, the artisan that crafted both Luna's medallion and Roberto's sun charm. Rey hears the conversation and interrupts the couple.

Yam continues to design[]

While Mora is at Jam & Roller, Yam shows her her designs. Mora tells Yam that she should think bigger and design more than just skating accessories. Later, Yam presents her designs to Ramiro, who loves them. While they are talking, Yam gets a call from someone who wants to see her designs. Yam and Ramiro hug at the good news and are joined by Jim, who asks if she is interrupting something.

  • The song "Unstuck" composed by Lawrence Treadwell and Michele Vice-Maslin for Megatrax is heard when Pedro and Nico are preparing food before Simón walks in. The track was previously heard in Season 1/Episode 15 when Ámbar was apologizing to Matteo in Jam & Roller.
  • Pedro brings food to prepare at Jam & Roller, but he has said in a previous episode that Jam & Roller doesn't have a stove, which would make a task such as cooking inconvenient.
