Episode 38 is the thirty-eighth episode of the Disney Channel Latin America series Soy Luna. It aired on May 4, 2016.

Plot[]

Luna and Simón open up to each other. Ámbar plans to kick them out. RollerTrack asks Felicity to meet.

Summary[]

Luna is confused about her feelings[]

After Simón finishes singing "Eres," he asks Luna to tell him how she feels. She doesn't know exactly what she's feeling, but she doesn't want to lose his friendship. Luna talks about the encounter with Nina and Nina wonders if she's confused since Matteo's recently available. Luna sleeps on it and has a dream about the final again, only this time her partner is spinning as his face is alternating between Simón's and Matteo's.

Luna's personal matters are affecting her skating and Tamara notices. She tells Luna that she must put all her distractions aside.

The Battle of the Bands[]

At the "extra rehearsal" dinner date that Pedro and Yam have set up for Jim and Nico, both Jim and Nico are upset at the other's tactless idea to have a date. They are still upset with each other and do not want to talk. After arguing, they see Yam and Pedro hiding behind the counter and confront them.

The mega-band of Delfi, Gastón, Pedro, Nico, Jim, Yam, and Ramiro review the lyrics that Nico and Pedro edited and everyone's furious. They think that Nico and Pedro have gotten rid of all their ideas, while Nico and Pedro defend themselves by saying they were just trying to make the song rhyme. The mega-band sees the arrangement isn't going to work and decides to split back into the Roller Band and "Los Otros" (The Others).

Later that evening, Darío kicks off the Open Music, revealing that the winners will get to be the backing band for a famous group and that a tie will be broken by his radio producer guest judge Martín Buscati. The first band up is Electropower with "Corazón." Ramiro is staring down Vero, and Jim thinks he's being too obvious. Next, Los Otros perform "Camino" with the help of Ramiro's keyboardist cousin and his guitarist friend. Finally, the Roller Band performs "Eres" with Simón over video call. Simón convinces Luna to join him and they sing together.

Tino and Cato plan a party[]

Ámbar's scheming to keep Luna out of the final and has a plan involving Tino and Cato. She asks the two men to rent a truck for a surprise birthday party for Luna. Tino and Cato love Luna, so they happily agree, rent the truck, and buy numerous party decorations.

RollerTrack and FelicityForNow[]

Pedro asks Delfi why she broke up with Gastón and she reveals that she lied to Gastón about being FelicityForNow. Pedro tells Delfi that if a girl did that to him, he wouldn't mind because it would just mean that she cares.

Gastón reaches out to the real FelicityForNow after she posts and asks if she can meet him in real life. Nina is occupied, though. She goes to the park and sees Xavi. He clears the air by saying the girl he was with was his study partner, not his girlfriend.

Tamara moves on[]

Tamara runs into her ex-boyfriend Mariano backstage at the rink. He says he moved away to Spain after Tamara broke his heart, but she remembers the story a different way. Later, she sees Ricardo and they decide to go on a date. Ricardo wants to keep it a secret from Nina, but as Tamara runs off to get ready, Nina approaches him with Ana on video call and they catch him holding a bouquet of flowers.

Jazmín goes out on a date with Arcade[]

Jazmín tells Ámbar about her date with Arcade, but she is uninterested. Jazmín arrives at the cafe ten minutes late as to not seem desperate, but Arcade shows up only seconds later apologizing for keeping her waiting. Arcade orders a large amount of food off of the menu and Jazmín is a bit disgusted. In the middle of the conversation, Arcade's fans swarm the cafe and Jazmín suggests they hide under the table.
