Season 1/Episode 27

Episode 27, also known as Un nuevo hogar para Simón, sobre ruedas (A new home for Simón, on wheels), is the twenty-seventh episode of the Disney Channel Latin America series Soy Luna. It aired on April 19, 2016.

Plot[]

Simón is about to leave the cellar, but Sharon and Ámbar are nearly there. Will he get out in time? Meanwhile, Tino and Cato have a problem in Mexico, and Ricardo continues in his attempts to win Tamara over.

Summary[]

Simón is leaving the Benson Mansion[]

Sharon sends a member of her security team into the storeroom to check if Simón is there. But when he comes back, he says that the storeroom is empty, much to Ámbar's anger. Sharon then chastises Ámbar for wasting her time, even though she swears she saw Simón in the cellar. Luna sees them talking, but she can't hear them and doesn't know whether Simón is safe or not. Luna is worried about Simón, but her parents tell her to trust him and to act normal in case Sharon notices.

Simón goes to Jam & Roller with his guitar and suitcase. He has nowhere to go and he asks Nico and Pedro for help. Luna then enters Jam & Roller and spots him. Simón was able to sneak out a window to avoid being caught. She's relieved to see him, but when she sees him carrying his belongings, she immediately thinks he's going back to Mexico and begs him not to go. Simón laughs and tells her that Pedro and Nico have a spare room in their apartment and he can stay with them. Luna is happy that he found a place to stay, but also a little sad about him leaving her house.

That night, Luna dreams about skating at Jam & Roller and losing her moon necklace again. When she wakes up, she sees Ámbar waiting by her bed. Ámbar is angry and asks Luna why she betrayed their friendship and went back on their agreement. Luna tells her that a real friend wouldn't have asked her to give up on her dream and says that she doesn't want to have any problems with Ámbar.

The next day at the rink, Simón and Luna are practicing for the competition. Ámbar sees them and tries to dissuade them by telling them that their moves are very basic and that they don't have a chance in the competition. Simón sticks up for Luna, but just as Ámbar is telling them to pull out of the competition, Matteo comes over and hears her. He confronts Ámbar about what she means, but Luna saves her by making up an excuse just in time. Simón asks to take a break from their rehearsal. Luna expresses to Simón once again that she'll be lonely in the house all alone and he responds that he could never leave her. He begins to lean in for a kiss.

Gastón and "Felicity" go on a date[]

Gastón confronts Delfina about a post on FelicityForNow that makes it seem like Delfina's not enjoying Gastón's company. Delfina covers and says that its a farce for the account as no one can know that Felicity has a boyfriend. Gastón then asks if it's okay if everyone knows he's dating Delfina to which she responds yes. Gastón asks Delfina out on a date to the movie theater in order to discuss a Sci-fi film. To study, Delfina reads a number of online reviews of the film. Unlucky for her, all the showings of that film were sold out, so Gastón and her had a watch another film. Delfina asks Ámbar for help via text, but Jazmín answers instead and gives her incorrect information about the movie. Gastón is confused with Delfina as all her opinions differ from his and she brings up plots that did not occur.

Meanwhile, Nina is upset because RollerTrack hasn't spoken to her for a while. Luna tries to comfort her, but things are made worse when Gastón and Matteo walk past them and the girls hear Gastón talking about his relationship with Delfina. Luna asks Nina whether she likes RollerTrack or Gastón, and she says it's the same - both aren't talking to her. Nina's sadness is making it hard to write posts for FelicityForNow. Her views are dropping and her fans aren't commenting as much; she questions if she should shut down the account.

The Roller Band's music video gets a wide release[]

Sebastián Villalobos tells the Roller Band that he loves their music video and that they should post it to their social medias. The band doesn't have any, so Sebastián helps them out by posting it to his own. The exposure scores the band an interview, but they come to realize that they have nothing to talk about.

Tino and Cato are stranded abroad[]

Back in Mexico, Cato and Tino go to the airport to catch their flight to Buenos Aires. But when they get there, they are told that they have missed their flight and will have to purchase tickets on another one. Cato spent the last of their money on a portrait of Amanda, so they decide to call Rey, but they don't remember the phone's passcode. This means that they are stuck in Mexico with no way back to Buenos Aires.

At the Benson Mansion, Sharon questions where Tino and Cato are. Rey tells her that he gave them enough money for tickets and asked them to meet up with him at the airport. Sharon responds that she doesn't care that Tino and Cato have stayed in Mexico because they were useless anyway.

Sebastián tries to get close with Ámbar[]

Sebastián and Ámbar are planning on making a music video for "Mírame a mí". They talk about it at the Benson Mansion, where Ámbar gives Sebastián a folder full of ideas for the video. Ámbar wants professional skaters and filmographers, but Sevastián was planning on asking skaters to do the video as a favor and having Jazmín behind the camera. Sebastián then flirts with Ámbar, assuring her that everything will be perfect. Sebastián asks Ámbar for her opinion on bow ties for the dancers. Ámbar puts the bow tie around Sebastián's neck and is caught in a compromising position on camera by Jim and Yam, who are hiding in the mansion.

Ricardo attempts to ask out Tamara[]

Ricardo shows up at Jam & Roller, under the pretense of picking up Nina. He unexpectedly runs into Ana, and panics, faking a phone call to avoid her. He then speaks to Tamara and talks her into letting him give her a ride. On the way, Tamara hears heavy metal music coming from his phone. She tells him that she loves that type of music, and Ricardo tells her that he does too in a bid to win her over, but when Tamara realizes where the conversation is going she says she has to go back to Jam & Roller to get something and leaves Ricardo.

At his apartment, Ricardo is in a funk about Tamara and is having trouble winning in his video games. Nina notices that something is wrong and asks if it is about a woman.

Miguel investigates the origins of the medallion[]

Miguel brings Luna's moon necklace and the sun medallion to a jeweler. The jeweler tells him that the two pieces, in addition to being very valuable, share the same signature and were crafted by the same artisan. Miguel leaves the sun medallion with the jeweler for further inspection.
