Episode 24, also known as "Una verdad salio a la luz, sobre ruedas" (A truth brought light, on Wheels), is the twenty-fourth episode of the Disney Channel Latin America series Soy Luna. It aired on April 14, 2016.
Plot[]
Luna is left with no choice but to fulfill Ámbar's ultimatum, but will Simón have any say in the matter? Meanwhile, Delfina comes up with a devious plan to get Gastón to fall for her.
Summary[]
Ámbar blackmails Luna[]
Ámbar tells Luna that she won't tell her godmother about Simón living in their basement, on one condition: she has to give up her place in the skating competition. Luna takes Nina's advice and practices in the park instead of the rink in an attempt to hide her preparations from Ámbar. Simón, unaware of the situation, is confused about why they are practicing away from the rink. Their practice is cut short when Simón is called away by the band. Ámbar, who has been watching the scene from afar, catches the two skating and reminds Luna of the deal the two had. Later, Luna talks to Tamara and tells her that she is dropping out of the competition
Delfina wants to verify RollerTrack's identity[]
Delfina is jealous of FelicityForNow as she is stealing Gastón, whom she suspects to be RollerTrack, away from her. Jazmín isn't convinced and says that it could be any member of the Roller Band or Ramiro. At school, Delfina and Jazmín watch as Gastón makes a post as RollerTrack and film him, confirming Delfina's suspicions. Matteo sees them and asks them what they're doing, but Ámbar arrives just in time to save them by accusing Matteo of not trusting her. In an attempt to win Gastón back, Delfina emails him pretending to be FelicityForNow and asks him to meet her in the park, where she lies and tells him that she was FelicityForNow all along.
Ramiro tries to impress Yam with his dog[]
Ramiro introduces his dog Ritmo to Jim and Yam in the park. He tells Yam that he has lots of dogs in his life that were all named after music terms. Yam is unimpressed and wonders if someone told him she liked dogs. The next day, Jim and Yam are out walking in the park when they run into Ramiro and his dog again. Ramiro boasts about how his dog knows a lot of tricks and is very obedient, but Ritmo proves him wrong by sticking his head into Yam's bag and eating her food, much to Ramiro's embarrassment. Ramiro tries to ask Yam out, but she says she's busy. Jim asks Yam if she is only saying no for Jim's sake.
Cato and Tino are in Mexico[]
Amanda reads Mónica a love letter left to her by Cato with some odd mechanic imagery. Cato is in Mexico with Rey and Tino to search for the orphanage that once cared for Sol Benson. Tino and Cato are given a list of orphanages that they must check out by Rey, but Cato would rather spend his "vacation" checking out tourist spots. Tino is scared of Rey and tries to convince Cato to take their task seriously.
The Boys and Girls teams prepare for the Open Music[]
Matteo, Gastón, and Ramiro are butting heads because each boy thinks he should sing lead for the next Open. Jim and Yam interrupt the argument and tell the boys that the rules for the Open stipulate that no one person can sing lead. The songs of the night will be dictated by a "song wheel." Later, as the three boys are showing up for practice, Simón joins them and Matteo picks a fight.
On the girls team, Ámbar quickly takes control and leads practice with Jim, Yam, and Delfina on her song "Mírame a mí." The girls want to be able to sing with their distinct styles, but Ámbar refuses and says hers is the best. After talking to Nina, Luna changes her mind on not participating and announces that she has joined the Open and will sing with them. Jazmín wants to join too, but she is a poor singer. To remedy this, Jazmín asks Simón for music lessons.
Filming for the "Invisibles" music video begins[]
The Roller Band is shooting their video clip in the rink with Jazmín and Nina behind the camera. They run into a number of issues such as wardrobe malfunctions and skaters who aren't performing their roles correctly.
