Mariano is a recurring character in Soy Luna. He is a skating coach that comes to Jam & Roller in the second part of Season 1 to win back his ex-girlfriend Tamara. Along the way, he becomes the co-coach of the Jam & Roller Skating Team.

He is portrayed by Thomas de las Heras.

History[]

Before the Show[]

Mariano met Tamara at a skating competition, and he was amazed to watch her land a triple axel.[1] Later, Mariano and Tamara began a relationship and traveled to Europe together.[1] After some time, they broke up. Heartbroken, Mariano moved to Spain.[2]

Season 1[]

Part 1[]

Mariano runs into Tamara at the final for the International Skating Competition, where he's coaching the reigning champion Rolliando team. He claims that Tamara broke his heart, but she remembers the situation differently. Ricardo Simonetti sees Mariano as a threat to his budding relationship with Tamara and tells him to back off, a threat Mariano ignores. He tells Tamara he wants to get back together.

Part 2[]

Mariano finds Tamara in Buenos Aires and tells her that he quit and job and moved just to win her back. Tamara is not receptive to the idea as she is currently dating Ricardo and says she's really busy with the Intercontinental Skating Competition coming up. Mariano asks to help her train the team, and Tamara tells initially tells him no, but later changes her mind. Mariano is a tough coach and quite mean towards Ámbar's team. He is always criticizing them and one day, makes them skate until Gastón and Pedro can not feel their legs.

Mariano betrays Jam & Roller and forms a new team to compete against them, taking Jim and Ramiro with him.
