Karol Itzitery Piña Cisneros (born November 9, 1999), professionally known as Karol Sevilla, is a Mexican actress and singer. She portrays Luna Valente in Soy Luna.

Life and Career []

Karol Sevilla grew up in the city of Mexico City, Mexico. Starting in 2006, she attended Child Center for Arts Education of Televisa until she graduated in 2008. She has an older brother named Mauricio.[2]

She began her career at age six staring in TV commercials, before landing roles in TV series and telenovelas. In 2011, she landed a role in Amorcito corazón as María Luz, the daughter of the protagonist. In 2012 and 2014, she guest stared in Cómo dice el dicho for two episodes. From 2008 to 2015, she was in a few episodes of the anthology La rosa de Guadalupe. She has also been the musical theater productions El mago de Oz, Fantabulosa, and Timbiriche.

From 2016 to 2018, she played the titular role in Soy Luna and participated in three tours across Latin America and Europe. After the end of Soy Luna, Sevilla voiced Dani Fernández in the Spanish dub of Ralph Breaks the Internet. She also contributed to the soundtrack with the song "El lugar."

As of 2022, she is starring in Siempre Fui Yo, a Disney+ original series. She is starring as the protagonist, Lupe.
