Jam & Roller is the skating team formed by the teens from Jam & Roller. They have participated in numerous competitions and is a consistently high ranking team. The line-up is very fluid, and at times has been chosen through competitions and at others by who is available and willing to participate. The line-up typically goes through many changes from the first practice to the final competition.

History[]

Season 1[]

In Season 1 the team was trained by Tamara, and for some time, Mariano.

The first competition they competed in was the International Skating Competition, a partners event To determine the team for the International, a competition was first held at Jam & Roller. Luna and Simón won the internal competition and were sent to the final, with Ámbar and Matteo as alternates. At the final, Simón went missing, and Matteo's role as an alternate was invoked. Matteo and Luna placed second.

Since Luna and Matteo placed second at Internationals, Jam & Roller qualified for the Intercontinental Skating Competition, an event for teams of six to ten. Before the final Intercontinental competition, there was a Regional competition. Since Tamara thought there was so much interest, she held an internal competition first to determine the team for Regionals. Ámbar's team won, and represented Roller at the competition, placing fourth and qualifying for the finals. Afterwards, Tamara decided to mix up the team for finals. At the Intercontinental, Jam & Roller placed first.

Season 2[]

In the second season the team got a new trainer, Juliana. They competed in only one competition all season: Roda Fest.

To qualify for the competition, they first had to submit a video, which they did to "Siempre juntos." They qualified for the first round and performed "Cuenta conmigo." They moved on to the semi-final, which they hosted at Jam & Roller. The team was only four members, and they performed "I've Got a Feeling" with Nico, Pedro, and Yam accompanying them with music.

The team moved on to the final, which was held in Cancún. Ámbar was kicked off of the team and joins their rival, the Sliders. Jam & Roller lost Roda Fest to the Sliders.

Season 3[]

In Season 3, the Jam & Roller team is disaffiliated from the rink, which has been renamed Red Sharks. The new owner Gary López starts his own team called the Red Sharks that trains at the rink. Jam & Roller continues to practice as a rival team and challenges Red Sharks to a battle, which is posted to Fab and Chic.

After Gary leaves Buenos Aires, Red Sharks is disbanded, and Jam & Roller becomes the official team again. The team is invited to perform the opening act at River Live Fest.

Trivia[]

  • Nicolás Navarro, despite working at Jam & Roller, competing in multiple internal competitions, and being considered a talented skater, has never been a part of the Jam & Roller skating team.
    • It is mentioned that Nico used to win skating competitions all the time when he was younger, so it's possible that he has represented Jam & Roller in the past, before the beginning of the show.
  • Nina has never been a part of Jam & Roller for competition, only exhibition.
  • Only Matteo has been in every iteration of the team. Luna and Simón are the next most frequent members, each being apart of the team for 9 out of 10 functions.
