Soy Luna Wiki

The Disney Channel Universe is a shared universe wherein many Disney Channel shows take place. Over the years, Disney Channel has had a number of crossover events bringing characters from one show to guest star on another, connecting the channel's shows in a unified world. Soy Luna exists predominantly in parallel to the shows produced in the United States, but it shares its own universe with most shows produced in Latin America and Brazil.

Direct Crossovers[]

Violetta[]

Mirta Wons reprises her role as Olga Peña from Violetta on Soy Luna in Season 1/Episode 55. Olga is said to be Amanda's cousin.

Tini[]

Tini appears in Season 2/Episode 41 to perform "Ya no hay nadie que nos pare." She is only ever referred to as "Tini," never Tini Stoessel. After the events of Tini: The Movie, Violetta Castillo decides to go by her childhood nickname Tini. Therefore, the Tini that appears in Soy Luna could either be the character from Violetta or Martina Stoessel herself.

Juacas[]

Soy Luna is heavily connected to the show Juacas. First, Gary López from Juacas arrives to Jam & Roller as a potential investor in the business in Season 2. He returns in Season 3 as a main character and renames Jam & Roller to Red Sharks, the name of his surfing team in Juacas. Then, Gary's son Sebastián from Juacas appears in Season 3/Episode 07 looking for his surf board. Finally, Ámbar Smith appears in the second season of Juacas and performs "Claroscuro."

ONCE[]

Michael Ronda reprises his role as Simón Álvarez in the first season of ONCE. He invites a girl to Jam & Roller.

BIA[]

Katja Martínez reprises her role as Jazmín Carvajal in the first season of BIA as the founder of FUNDOM. She calls her fans "Jazfans" like she did on her channel Ja Jazmín. Malena Ratner then reprises her role as Delfina in the second season of BIA and mentions Pedro by name.

Other references in BIA include the existence of "¿Cómo me ves?" as a song, Rodeo Bay Studios, and the band Electro Power, which appears in Season 1 of Soy Luna and is mentioned in Season 1 of BIA. Sebastián Villalobos also appears in the first season of BIA.

Other Connections[]

Peter Punk[]

Peter Punk had numerous crossovers with Violetta. Since Soy Luna is connected to Violetta, it would also be connected to Peter Punk.

Zeke and Luther[]

Zeke and Luther had a crossover with Peter Punk in the episode "El duelo." Since Soy Luna is connected to Peter Punk through Violetta, it would also be connected to Zeke and Luther.

Cuando toca la campana[]

Rock Bones from Peter Punk appeared in character on Cuando toca la campana. DJ from Cuando toca la campana later reappeared in Violetta. Since Soy Luna is connected to both Peter Punk and Violetta, it would also be connected to Cuando toca la campana.

Kickin' It[]

Dale Lewis from Zeke and Luther appears in the episode "Wax On, Wax Off" of Kickin' It to report on the heat wave that is happening in Zeke and Luther, Kickin' It, and Pair of Kings. Since Soy Luna is connected to Zeke and Luther through Peter Punk, it would also be connected to Kickin' It.

Pair of Kings[]

Dale Lewis from Zeke and Luther also appears in the episode "An Ice Girl for Boomer" of Pair of Kings to report on the heat wave that is happening in Zeke and Luther, Kickin' It, and Pair of Kings. Since Soy Luna is connected to Zeke and Luther through Peter Punk, it would also be connected to Pair of Kings.

Further Connections[]

Other connections could be drawn between shows if recurring movies, technologies, and events were taken into account, but these connections may be considerably weaker, depending on the viewer's perspective. A special event called "Show Me the Moonday" occurred where Kickin' It, Lab Rats, and Mighty Med all experienced a lunar eclipse. Kickin' It also features a tablet called a "myTab" which is also seen in Good Luck Charlie and Austin & Ally. A movie poster for Hemorrhage II: Return of the Hemogoblin in 3D can be seen in both Kickin' It and ANT Farm. ANT Farm, Good Luck Charlie, and Austin & Ally have had multiple direct crossovers with other shows, including The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Shake It Up, Jessie, KC Undercover, Girl Meets World, and I Didn't Do It. And then those shows have had numerous direct crossovers with other shows as well. If evidence such as this were to be taken into account, Soy Luna would be in the greater Disney Channel Live Action Universe with almost all Disney Channel original series.

Another show to consider would be Que Talento! In it, Mayra Arduini and Bruno Martini star as Mayra Star and Bruno Guerra, two kids that start the band College 11. In Violetta, College 11 makes two guest appearances and the two members are only ever referred to as simply Mayra and Bruno. Of note, the guest appearances on Violetta preceded the show Que Talento!, but the shows could potentially be connected.

Notable doppelgängers that did not appear on Soy Luna include Isabela Souza, who portrays the titular BIA and was a main cast member on Juacas; Clara Alonso, who was on Violetta, Cuando toca la campana, and Peter Punk; and Agustina Palma, who was a main cast member in both ONCE and BIA.

Trivia[]

  • Jungle Nest and Highway: Rodando la aventura are the only two Disney Channel shows produced in Argentina that are not connected to any others.
  • Other internationally produced Disney shows such as Alex & Co and The Lodge have shown no connections to American or Latin American produced ones.
  • Soy Luna, Violetta, and ONCE were all produced by Pol-ka Productions.
  • When Matteo Balsano meets Eva and Ada in Soy Luna, he mentions that he feels like they have met before. Ruggero Pasquarelli (Matteo) and Candelaria Molfese (Eva/Ada) were main cast members together on Violetta.
